Make the progress of a year of therapy — in days.
A customized, immersive EMDR experience in the Berkshires for high-achieving women, healers, and helpers ready to heal burnout, attachment wounds, and relational patterns at the root — not just talk about them.
Therapy doesn't have to be a slow, weekly grind for years.
Most of us assume healing has to be earned — one fifty-minute session at a time, for years, until it finally sinks in. That model works for some things. It often fails the people who already understand themselves deeply and are still stuck.
EMDR isn't only for single-incident, capital-T trauma. It's a proven, evidence-based approach for attachment wounds, chronic anxiety, burnout, and the people-pleasing patterns that built up over a lifetime of being "the reliable one."
A format built around your life — not the other way around.

- Somatic and IFS-informed work woven throughout
The Retreat Intensive
3 Days · Multi-Day Retreat- For clients traveling from Boston, NYC, or further — built as a true retreat experience

- The most immersive option for long-standing patterns
An intensive may be right for you if...
- You've done years of talk therapy and understand your patterns intellectually, but still feel stuck
- You're a high-functioning professional running on empty — burnout, exhaustion, autopilot
- You're navigating relationship trauma, betrayal, or divorce and want focused support
- You struggle with chronic people-pleasing and have a hard time receiving care yourself
- Weekly therapy is either ineffective or genuinely impossible to schedule with your life
An intensive may not be the right first step if...
- You're currently in active crisis and need ongoing, immediate weekly support
- You're managing active psychosis or active substance use without other support in place
- You haven't yet had an initial assessment to determine readiness for EMDR
- You're looking for open-ended, exploratory talk therapy rather than focused, goal-oriented work
Every long path back to yourself starts with a single, focused step.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is an EMDR therapy intensive?
EMDR therapy intensives range from 3–5 hours per day over 1–3 days. Before scheduling, Rachel will meet with you for a 90-minute assessment session to discuss which length is right for your goals.
Are therapy intensives more effective than weekly therapy?
Intensives can be just as effective as weekly therapy and take less than half the time. The concentrated space and time provide accelerated, deeper healing that helps you get to root causes for long-term change.
Do I need to be local to the Berkshires?
No — many clients travel here for intensives from Boston, New York City, and Connecticut. Online intensives are available for clients physically located in Massachusetts or Florida at the time of the session.
Who is not a good candidate for EMDR therapy?
While EMDR is effective for many people, those with certain psychiatric conditions such as active psychosis or active substance use may not be good candidates. A consultation will help determine if EMDR is the right fit for your specific needs.
Do you accept insurance?
Rachel is an out-of-network provider and does not directly bill insurance. A superbill is provided so you can seek reimbursement directly from your insurance carrier.
How is an intensive different from a weekend retreat?
An intensive is individualized, 1:1 clinical work tailored entirely to you — unlike a group retreat, the full focus of each session is your own healing, paced to your nervous system.
